Vejers

Vejers is an old seaside resort close to the North Sea. It was here that the very first holiday cottages were built. Many of these cottages are still standing, and Vejers has succeeded in preserving a lot of the charm of the past. Because tourism here in Vejers has existed for so many years, holiday cottages are found right out as far as the outermost dunes.

The city is buzzing with life even while it has a relaxed atmosphere. The shops stock a wide range of goods and there is parking right outside the door.

Grærup and Børsmose

Grærup and Børsmose are a little north of Vejers, both very peaceful areas surrounded by beach, dunes, forest and heathland.

Grærup is a holiday cottage area with its own fishing lake.

Børsmose has a camping site at the outermost row of dunes.
The natural environment around Vejers, Grærup and Børsmose is best known for its beaches and dunes. But this is only a small part of the full picture.

The hinterland with the lake Langsø and the old Bronze Age coastline is home to some of the area’s most attractive landscapes, with unique possibilities for exploring on foot, by bicycle or perhaps on horseback.
