Oksbøl Oksbøl was Denmark’s sixth biggest city during the post-war years 1945-49 after the German refugee camp was set up here. Oksbøl is now a centre with a number of supermarkets and small specialty shops. The city also has a swimming and waterland, post office, tourist bureau and library.
A good bargain can also be picked up at the weekly flea market in the centre of town in summer.
The Lake "Præstesøen"
 The town adjoins the big forest area with marked walking paths, one of which passes the lake Præstesøen, an extremely peaceful area of great natural beauty.
The dog forest
The dog forest, where 19 hectares of the forest are fenced in for our canine friends where dogs can run around freely without leashes as long as they are under their owners’ full control.
The forest playground
A forest playground with tables, benches and toilet has been established next to the dog forest. Take your picnic basket with you and enjoy nature at any time of the year.

Jegum Ferieland Jegum, a little north of Vrøgum, is a peaceful holiday cottage area with restaurant, shopping, minigolf, tennis courts and a big playground. Vrøgum Not far from Oksbøl is Vrøgum, originally a little provincial town but now a dynamic village, where various craftsmen have settled and are happy to invite guests into their workshops. At the entry to Vrøgum from the road Baunhøjvej, there is a big recreational area called Ballonparken, with playground, covered barbecue area with tables and benches, and clean toilets. There are marked walking paths in the forest bordering Ballonparken.  I n Vrøgum you also find a "put and take" fishing lake.

 Aal Church in Oksbøl is remarkeble for its many freskos. The frescoes are Denmark's biggest pictorial work from the Middle Ages.
The refugee cemetary In Oksbøl there ismemorial park with hundreds of stone crosses for those who died in the camp after the second world war.
Museums in Oksbøl Oksbøl offers a wide range of attractions, such as the amber museum, the local historical museum and the fire engine museum.
