The fairy land

Close by Ho vicarage is the memorial garden created in memory of the poet Thomas Lange.

He spend his years as a child in the Ho vicarage where his uncle was vicar and his single mother was housekeeping. Later he often visited the place. Here he had so vital experiences that they formed the basis of his novel "Fairy Land".

In the middle of the memorial garden a bust of Thomas Lange is raised and the garden is planted with vegetation from "the fairy land". In the eastern part of the garden the pond so often told about in Thomas Langes work is re-established.
